Which trailheads and sites need which pass
The programme page's own “Sites That Require Passes” table lists specific trailheads and picnic areas by name. As read today: Baldwin, Bell Rock Pathway/Vista, Bell, Boynton Canyon, Bruce Brockett, Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Vista, Crane Petroglyph Heritage Site, Bear/Doe Mountain, Dry Creek, Encinoso, Fay Canyon, Halfway, Honanki, Huckaby, Jim Thompson, Little Horse, Lava River Cave, Mescal, Midgley Bridge, Palatki and Yavapai Vista all read “Red Rock Pass or ATB.” Call of the Canyon Picnic Site/West Fork, Crescent Moon, Beaver Creek Day-Use, Grasshopper Point and Lower Lake Mary read “Coconino Hospitality Annual Pass” only — the Red Rock Pass and ATB pass are not accepted there. Red Rock State Park and Slide Rock State Park read “State Park Entrance Fee,” a separate Arizona State Parks charge. A trailhead this index compiles that is absent from that table is recorded on its own page as not listed, rather than assumed free — the programme page is silent, and silence is not a claim.
- Bear Mountain Trail No. 54
- Fay Canyon Trail No. 53 (Red Rock)
- Mescal Trail No. 174C
- Slide Rock State Park
- Grasshopper Point
- Call of the Canyon / West Fork
The free shuttle does not need this pass
Riding the free Sedona Shuttle to a trailhead it serves does not require a Red Rock Pass — the shuttle's own page states riders are not charged a parking fee at the trailhead. This pass is only for a vehicle parked and left at a fee site.
