A verified Cairn listing is a public record of your Sedona business — what you sell, what it costs, where you work, your hours and your phone — confirmed with you in person and stamped with the date each fact was checked. It is the same record whether you lay tile, teach yoga, unclog drains, cut hair, fix laptops, sell coffee or open the doors on Sunday: the fields change, the standard does not. Verification is free by phone. An optional in-person sit-down is a one-time $150. An enhanced listing is $55 a month and keeps the record rich and current. Fixing an error is always free, for everyone, whether or not you ever pay us anything.
What a verified listing is
- A page in the Sedona record. Your business, described accurately: what you sell, what it costs, your hours, your service area, how you are licensed where that applies — each fact carrying the date it was confirmed with you, and re-checked on a schedule so the dates stay fresh. The fields fit the trade: a plumber's page carries a call-out basis and a licence number, a studio's carries a class timetable, a church's carries service times.
- A funnel to you, not through us. Your page links straight to your own phone number and your own website. Cairn takes no commission, adds no booking fee, and never puts a middleman between you and your customer.
- Machine-readable output. The same facts are published as structured data in a format that search engines and AI assistants can read directly — plain, dated, and mirroring the visible page exactly.
What it costs
- $150 USD one-time setup. We sit down with you, confirm every fact together, and publish your verified page.
- $55 USD a month, enhanced listing. Everything you offer kept current, richer descriptions, and updates whenever your prices, hours or services change — with each change dated.
How verification works and what it costs
Verification itself is free by phone: Thomas Karl reads every fact back to you, you confirm or correct each one, and the page flips to verified the same call — no charge, no visit needed. The $150 tier, named "Verified record (in-person sit-down)," buys the in-person version of that same read-back instead: Thomas Karl sits down with you, reads every fact back to you fact by fact, and publishes the page the same day. Verified status never depends on payment; it depends only on someone confirming every fact with you.
The enhanced listing is optional, separate from verification, and priced at $55 a month (billed monthly — schema.org unit code MON on this page's structured data). If a subscription lapses, nothing about the listing changes because of it — a lapsed enhanced listing is never unclaimed, downgraded or deleted. Fixing an error is free for everyone, whether or not you have ever paid us anything.
What "verified" means, and does not mean. Verified means the operator confirmed each fact with the editor on the date shown on the page. It does not mean licensed, insured, inspected, reviewed or endorsed. It is a record of what was checked and when — nothing more.
What is always free
Correcting an error costs nothing, ever, for anyone — you, a competitor, or a visitor. We never charge to fix a fact, and a listing is never removed, downgraded or made less accurate because a business chooses not to pay. Accuracy is the product; it is not for sale and not held back.
What we do not sell
No rankings, no placement, no reviews, no stars, and no promises about what any search engine or AI assistant will do. There is no paid placement by any business, on any page, ever: position in a comparison cannot be bought, tables are ordered by listed price, and every business is shown the same way. Cairn does not score, grade, rank or name a best pick — in any sector, ever. What you are buying is a verified, current, machine-readable record of your business — nothing more, and nothing less. Show that you are listed
Any listed business may show a small "Listed in The Sedona Index" badge on its own website, linking to its own record. It is optional and free. It is never required for a listing, and it never changes placement or verification. Get the badge and its copy-paste code.
