Trolley tours stay on paved roads: narrated sightseeing loops that board in Uptown Sedona, an hour or two long, at the lowest prices in this table. Jeep tours range from paved scenic drives to off-road trail runs in the Coconino National Forest backcountry, in small groups, and cost several times a trolley seat. Several jeep operators sell their tours as private outings priced per person by group size, so a party of two pays more per seat than the listed floor; the exact ranges are in the opening paragraph and in each row, both derived from the operator records.

How this comparison works

Rows are ordered by starting price, lowest first, across both categories; the Type column says which kind of tour each row is. Prices are the lowest published price for each operator and do not include tax, fees or gratuity unless the operator page says so. Nothing on this page is ranked by payment: an operator cannot buy a higher position.

Worth knowing about the brands

Sedona's tour brands overlap more than their storefronts suggest. Four jeep brands — Red Rock Western Jeep Tours, A Day in the West, Sedona Offroad Adventures and Earth Wisdom Jeep Tours — print the same West Sedona tour-center address and contact email on their own sites, and Red Rock Magic Trolley prints that same contact email. Sedona Trolley and Red Rock Magic Trolley are different companies a few doors apart in Uptown. Cairn lists each brand separately because each sells distinct tours, and records the shared footprints on the operator pages.
