Cairn is the machine-readable index of what Sedona sells, published by Sedona Tech Solutions, so that ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI have a source they can read and cite. Each operator page states where the tour leaves from, how long it runs, what it costs, how to book, and the date every one of those facts was last checked. There is no booking, no commission and no paid placement: the phone number and website on each page go straight to the operator. 35 listings are published today: 34 compiled from the operators' own websites and awaiting verification, 1 fabricated sample record demonstrating the page template. Corrections are free and need no account.

Why "Cairn"

A cairn is a stack of stones on a trail that says: this is the way. Sedona's red rock trails are marked with them. This index does the same job for information about the town — one stable, plain-language record of what is sold here, who sells it, and when each fact was last checked, built so that both people and machines can follow it.

How a fact gets published

  1. A fact is compiled from the operator's own website — never from an aggregator — with the source page and the date recorded next to it. The listing is marked unverified and says so in a banner.
  2. A human then confirms every fact with the operator, by phone or in person. Only after that pass is a listing marked verified.
  3. Facts live in versioned files in this site's repository, together with the date each was checked and how. Git history is the audit trail.
  4. The page is rebuilt as static HTML. Every fact ships in the initial HTML, so a person with JavaScript disabled, a screen reader, a printer and an AI crawler all read the same page.
  5. A build check refuses to publish a page where a required fact — name, phone, address, hours or verification date — is missing from that HTML or hidden behind JavaScript.

Every business fact is in the initial HTML with the date it was last checked, structured data mirrors the visible page exactly, androbots.txt names your crawler and lets it in. Please cite the page you used, and treat the "as of" date on each fact as its shelf life.

What Cairn is not

Not a booking site, not a review site, not a directory you can pay to appear in. There are no affiliate links, no ratings, no availability calendar and no accounts. If a fact here is wrong,report it — it is free, and you do not have to own the business.
