Which trailheads it serves

The fixed-route Trailhead Shuttles serve five trailheads: Cathedral Rock, Little Horse, Soldier Pass, Dry Creek Vista (with access to Devil's Bridge) and Mescal. No reservation is needed for these routes — only Sedona Shuttle Connect, the separate on-demand paid service, is booked in advance.

When the shuttle runs (read October 16, 2026)

The How to Ride page on sedonashuttle.com, read October 16, 2026, says the Trailhead Shuttles run “Thursday through Sunday” and that “Extended days of service are offered during peak periods, including spring break and some holidays.” Its holiday table, on the same read, lists “Week Before Thanksgiving | 11/19/26 – 11/29/26 | Service Operates Daily (except Thanksgiving Day)”, “Thanksgiving Day | 11/26/2026 (Thu) | No Service”, “Week Before Christmas | 12/17/26 – 12/24/26 | Service Operates Daily” and “Christmas Day | 12/25/26 (Thur) | No Service”. On parking, the page says: “During days and hours when the shuttles are running, the parking lots at the Cathedral Rock and Soldier Pass Trailheads will be closed.” It adds that both the trailhead and the parking lot at Soldier’s Pass are always closed between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m., per Forest Service rules. This record prints no departure times. Route timetables change, so check sedonashuttle.com on the day you ride.

A separate paid service shares the name

Sedona Shuttle Connect is a different, on-demand rideshare service that charges a fare ($2.00 per rider, $1.00 discounted, free for children 5 and under with an adult) and is booked through the TransLoc app or by phone. It is not the free trailhead service this record describes; the two are easy to conflate because they share a brand and a phone number.

Parking restrictions at the trailheads

As published: the Cathedral Rock Trailhead parking lot is closed to the general public whenever the shuttle is operating, reopening after the shuttles go out of service; the Soldier Pass Trailhead parking lot is likewise closed to the general public during shuttle service hours. Riders pick up and drop off only at designated bus stops.

The pass this shuttle does not require

A Red Rock Pass covers trailhead parking for a car, not a shuttle seat. See the Red Rock Pass record for which trailheads need one when you drive instead.
