Brins Mesa Trailhead, off Dry Creek Road (FR 152); also reached from the Jim Thompson TrailheadAs published: from the 'Y' intersection of state Routes 89A and 179 in downtown Sedona, drive west on SR 89A for 3.2 miles to Dry Creek Road, take it 2 miles north, then turn right where Dry Creek Road (Forest Road 152) breaks off and drive 0.2 miles to the parking lot on the left. You can park there and hike another 2.24 miles up FR 152 to the Brins Mesa Trailhead, or drive to it with a high-clearance vehicle (that section is not passable for passenger vehicles).
