The Schnebly Hill Road warning
The page warns, verbatim: "DO NOT attempt driving up Schnebly Hill Road from Sedona unless you have a high clearance, 4-wheel drive vehicle due to the extremely rough road." The east trailhead directions also pass a winter closure gate on Schnebly Hill Road.
