Travellers debate the scenic 89A Oak Creek drive against the faster Flagstaff / I-17 run; the Cameron / Desert View east entrance against a shorter gate line; and US-180 against Williams / 64 into the South Rim. At the rim

South Rim is the default Sedona day trip. The North Rim is remote and seasonal; the West Rim sits more on the Las Vegas side. Common stops people name are Mather Point, the Rim Trail and Yavapai, the Village and Bright Angel, and Desert View Drive with the Watchtower; some add a short hike such as Ooh Aah Point and use the park shuttle. Clouds can blank the view — check a rim webcam before you spend the day. This page gives no park hour, shuttle fare or wait.

Season
